Dear, I am interested in the Staenis grid for my old terraced house with a tile on sand floor. Laying screed is out of my budget and drying time is an issue. I am considering Fermacell's dry floor system. Can the frame system be placed directly on the composted sand or on the uneven tiles? What is the smallest height of the frame? What is the minimum depth of the system? For 60m2 with the lowest recommended thickness, what is the estimated cost of the complete system including delivery to Bruges, Belgium (frame and grains)?

Thank you for your interest in the Staenis schedule! The minimum height of the Staenis grille is 4.5 cm. It is recommended to place the grille on top of the existing tiles to avoid extra costs. Be careful with rising damp and install a double construction film to prevent moisture problems. An alternative is insulation screed with OSB on it, with which you can continue with an OSB of 18 + laminate. You can prepare the bags of insulation screed individually and finish per pen, so that it can be walked on the next day.
