For the floor construction of your hull house, I would recommend filling it with an EPS insulation mortar after placing the pipes. As for the extra insulation material, I would recommend using insulation boards instead of an extra layer of EPS mortar. The underfloor heating can then be mounted on these insulation plates + foil. Afterwards you place a standard sand cement screed from a silo on top, because this will transmit the heat of the underfloor heating better.

What is insulation mortar and is it the same as non-tilable insulation screed?
