Key insights
Optimal amount of support legs can the damping with +2 dB improve (Test 2 vs 1).
Higher installation height (182 mm) provides an additional +2 dB noise reduction (Test 2 vs 3).
Felt under legs adds +3 dB add extra cushioning (Experiment 4).
EPS performs equivalent to cork (26 dB, Test 3 & 5).
Fermacell 2e22 adds +1 dB damping compared to OSB 18 mm (Experiment 6).
Fermacell 2e26 + vilt offers the highest profit with +4 dB (Experiment 7).
Install CircoFloor at a 20nbsp;cm height, with felt under the adjustment screws, fill with cork granules and plate with Fermacell 2e26.
